Verified Reviewer |Bad experience with Hisense refrigerator
In September 2023, I purchased a Hisense refrigerator from Lowes. A few days after it was delivered, I noticed a foul smell. I continued to wipe it out weekly, hoping the odor would go away.
In February 2024, as the smell persisted, I contacted Hisense Customer Service. They sent a technician, who agreed there was an odor. He advised that he would adjust the temperature as he didn't see anything else wrong. He also suggested placing baking soda inside the refrigerator to try and neutralize the smell. However, this didn't help.
The smell continued, and I resigned myself to it, thinking there was nothing more I could do since it was past the 30-day exchange period and they had already sent a technician.
In January 2025. I decided to visit Lowes, where I purchased the refrigerator. The representative suggested the problem could be with the condenser coils, the drip tray which I'd already checked and found to be like new, or clogged drainage.
I again reached out to Hisense and explained to the representative my ongoing problem. I mentioned that the issue had persisted since the time they first sent a technician. The representative said she would open a ticket and escalate it to tier 2 because they had already sent a technician for the same problem previously and didn't want to repeat the process if the issue remained the same. It was suggested I might need a replacement refrigerator.
She said that someone would call me within 24 hours. However, no one returned my call. I reached out to Hisense again, only to be told they needed to look into the problem and someone would return my call in another 24 hours.
Yet again, no one called me back. I contacted Hisense and requested to speak with management, explaining that I no longer wanted to deal with a representative who couldn't assist me. I was informed that management would call me, but even after a few days, no one did.
The representative asked me to hold for a couple of minutes. She checked the notes and said the case had been closed and a manual on how to clean the refrigerator had been sent to me. This confused me as I'd already explained from the outset that I had cleaned the refrigerator from top to bottom and the smell still didn’t go away. She asked if it was a chemical smell, and I told her it reminded me of a bad odor or perhaps rotten food. Despite her telling me this was not a chemical odor, my research online indicated that chemical odors from a refrigerator could indeed smell like rotten food.
She again promised that someone would return my call. It's been almost a week, and I'm still waiting for that call. I'm frustrated about this situation. I spent over $1000 on this refrigerator.
There is very little stored in the refrigerator to begin with, so the offensive odor has to be coming from somewhere else. It feels like $1000 down the drain. The customer service has been thoroughly disappointing.

I figured out my problem myself. Frankly the process of connecting you is for millenniums not for people over 65 procedure is too long and time-consuming, and there is no resolve unless you have some kind of nature of toggling through the system. I have knowledge of trying for yourself.
I purchased my television July 21 of 2021. You do not have that model number that I gave 32H4030F1.
My remote isnt voice control. However once I change my surge protectors, I began to receive automated voice of turning the channels that I do not care for.
I really wanted to speak to a live person about my situation. I will take the TV back to factory, And see where I go from that point.
Preferred solution: Need human assistance. Verbal communication.

The TV is turning itself on and off. I tried using its remote control but to no avail. I unplugged it and plugged it back but still didn't work.

Problem has not been resolved. TV has sound issue and needs to be replaced but meanwhile here I sit waiting on the engineers to fix it so I’m becoming very frustrated and annoyed.
Not able to fix it and Roku couldnt fix it either. Its a lemon and needs to be replaced. Just like this crap I summed it up short and sweet without using 100 characters

So, I bought this TV for the holidays for everyone to watch. I paid for it with cash.
I got it home, opened the box, turned it on and it had a crack in the screen. The picture on it also had lines through it. So, I would appreciate a free upgrade to a bigger size for my pointless purchase. I'm seriously upset now.
I don't have a TV, Target is closed and I can't return it until Black Friday when the damn store is going to be packed. This would have been the second time this happened to me.
Last time it was a 75-inch and they wouldn't return it because it was in the wrong box, so I lost out on $500 from that. This is ridiculous!

I was watching a movie with my friend when the screen went black. I tried to boost the cable, but it's just not working. I called my cable company and I told them.
They told me that it was the TV that is not working. They said that my TV has a screen malfunction.

No one came to the phone then a survey asked about my service I will not.. they try to distract you from leaving a bad statement by asked you to elaborate your point in a long paragraph about how they didnt come to the line to discuss the tv going blank and no longer operating properly. Nothing has been done to repair the issue. All we wanted was the TV to be replaced under warranty, and this was not granted.
So today we will go buy a new TV and dump this piece of *** in the garbage.
Enough is enough! I will never recommend your product to anyone else.

There is a thick flashy line through the middle of Tv .Need to speak with an agent .I am also unable to get back into wifi as the line prevents me from seeing letters that I need to get back on the password grid ,I just bought the TV around the Holidays maybe January .

The fan went out after exactly a year of buying the $600 refrigerator. All of our food spoiled...about $400 worth of food.
The repair is still underway. Hisense refused to reimburse for the groceries that they guaranteed would remain fresh. The repair company is subcontractor, so they're not actually Hisense, but they have been great. Hisense SUCKS!
You're better off buying secondhand or buying a Maytag or a Whirlpool. Our children are going to suffer this month because, oh stupid us, we thought our brand new refrigerator was going to work when we bought groceries with our EBT card. Hisense doesn't care. They take advantage of low-income people and do not stand behind their warranty.
They're evil.
Don't buy from them. Our fridge has been out for two weeks and Hisense is moving very slow with the repair.DO NOT BUY A HISENSE REFRIGERATOR!
